At Valkyrie Archery, we talk a lot about the "Saga." In Norse tradition, a saga isn't just a story that happens to you; it’s a story you earn through action, discipline, and grit.
Since 2024, we have seen this saga come to life through our Mounted Archery Youth Sponsorship. We have watched young riders transform into focused, confident athletes, mastering the difficult art of the horse-bow with the support of our tribe.
Now, as we look across the line at The Nest, it’s clear that the same "warrior spark" is thriving on the ground. Because of this, we are proud to continue and expand this sponsorship tradition for the 2026 season—bridging the gap between the range and the arena.
A Note from the Founder: Why This Matters to Me
"Since I launched the sponsorship program in 2024, I’ve seen first hand how a little bit of belief can change a young person’s life. It was never just about hitting a target; it was about what the bow gave those students: a sense of calm, a connection to the horse, and the confidence to master something difficult through sheer persistence.
I want that for every young person who walks into The Nest. This sponsorship is my way of ensuring that the most dedicated young warriors have everything they need to go from the ground to the saddle, continuing the legacy we started two years ago."
What We Are Looking For
We don't hold "try-outs." Instead, our coaching team continues the tradition of "scouting" during every session for the traits that define a Valkyrie:
-The "Range Rat" Energy: The student who is the first to arrive and the last to leave.
-Resilience: The archer who misses a shot, laughs, and resets with even more focus.
-Tribal Spirit: The student who goes out of their way to help a teammate find their arrows or settle a nervous horse.

Continuing our commitment to excellence, the student selected for the 2026 season receives:
-12 Hours of Private 1-on-1 Mentorship: Fast-tracking their skills at the range and in the arena.
-The Valkyrie Camp: Full entry to our intensive annual training experience.
-The Warrior Kit: Professional competition wear and specialized horse gear.
-Strategic Growth: Dedicated goal-setting sessions to map out their competitiv
e future.
